Transcultural Researches About Capoeira and Brazilian culture.
Sou Capoeira Project has this space exclusivelly destinated to researches which aim to promote the knowledge development on Capoeira, the Brazilian culture and the cultural demonstrations as Maculelê - Samba de Roda – Puxada de Rede and other adjacent folklores, so it’s possible to evaluate the impact in the quality of life of its practitioners and its cultural systems.
Our research here is interdisciplinary, within a transcultural approach to establish explanations from many knowledge áreas, such as:
• Social and Organizational Psichology;
• Sociology;
• Geography;
• Arts;
• Education and Physical Education;
• Anthropology.
We invite all interested people to propose new research themes.
